bella mittens (above) woot woot.
glimpse of productivity #1: i am almost finished with the bella mittens. dear lord they have taken forever. not because they are a slow pattern. no. it is because the weather went from being in the teens to 50 degrees.( and who wants to knit mittens in 50 degree weather?) and tonight, my friends, we should have snow showers. the weather is as unpredictable as my eating habits.
which since you asked are very odd as of the late. i have been uninterested in food lately, but of course I still want to eat it. by uninterested, i mean that i havent been my normal self. which could be described as obsessively eating a kale salad, sweet potato, and a grapefruit everyday for lunch. and coming home and making a big exciting meal for cody and i. i live for planning meals. I love eating super fresh foods at home. let me explain what i have eaten in the past three days: takeout thai, an abnormal amount of mellow mushroom pizza, and to top it off, an indian buffet. really? talk about indigestion. and now i have a suspicion that my stomach has stretched out and made it harder to get full. (that is typically my fear when eating from a buffet.)
example of non-productivity: cody and I watched this documentary tonight:
two thumbs up from me.
and i quote: "entertaining and thought provoking" - Amber
glimpse of productivity #2 and subsequent non-productivity: need to plan the garden. which i started today. and left unfinished for the movie and knitting on the couch with the cody, the dogs and mr. kittles, and a blazing hot fire.
my goal for this week: consult all manuals and get a plan written in stone or at least surrounded by stone.
glimpse of productivity #3: i have been working on some new project, and my goal is to have a real live etsy store by Feb 1.
and here is a new shirt that i am working on.
glimpse of productivity #4: i also worked on these socks yesterday during a rainy (read: monsoon) open house at the school. (where i was dreaming of being at home in my bed. not surprisingly, that is where everyone was and therefore thus not at the school. hence the sock knitting.)
examples of more non-productivity related tasks:
did not fold, or even look at the clean laundry that is piled in a chair in my bedroom.
looked at facebook for one last time today... as i am on a detox. and i am contemplating deleting my facebook account as it appears that i can waste lots of productive time looking at how many plants survived on someones farmville. or what level someone is within mafia wars, or how well do your friends know each other. And who are your top friends anyway?
